After facing a series of health challenges—and nearly a decade since the Culture Project closed its doors—my belief in the transformative power of art remains unwavering. With every breath, that conviction only deepens. Now at 79, I continue to create, collaborate, and bring people and cultures together through meaningful artistic expression.

I’m thrilled to announce our next endeavor: The Green Oasis Event, taking place at the beautiful Green Oasis Community Garden. Nestled among city buildings, this rustic garden offers a peaceful retreat—a hidden paradise in the heart of a bustling neighborhood.

The evening will feature a special musical performance by filmmaker and banjo virtuoso Josh Fox, along with a headline set by Kamal Sabri and Premik Russell Tubbs, whose Indian classical music will highlight the unifying power of sound across cultures.

The night will also include announcements of upcoming projects and a poetry reading from Antigone, which I am currently adapting for the stage.

If you’d like to support the event, your donation will help cover musician fees, event costs, and fund future artistic projects. Donate here

Though I grow older, my passion for building community through art only grows stronger. I hope you’ll join us for this special evening of creativity, connection, and new beginnings.

Warmly,
Allan Buchman
