Twin Spirits was a unique and intimate performance that brought to life the emotional and complex love story of 19th-century composers Robert and Clara Schumann. Starring Sting and Trudie Styler as Robert and Clara Schumann, the show wove together their passionate correspondence, personal struggles, and musical genius. Accompanied by a talented ensemble including violinist Joshua Bell and pianist Jeremy Denk, the evening featured works by both Robert and Clara Schumann, as well as pieces by Mozart and Chopin. Narrated by David Strathairn, Twin Spirits was a deeply moving tribute to the couple’s enduring love and artistic legacy, blending music, storytelling, and history in a captivating way.
